- My name is Deqlan Ross Higgins & im from South Africa. I turned 3 on 11 September 2009. I am a soldier & brave warrior for the Lord! I love Thomas & friends,Teletubbies,Cars,Helicopters,wheels,the sea AND dolphins! I love going to school!I was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma on the 25 May 2007.The main tumor that started close to my adrenal gland was removed&confirmed to be ganglioneuroma,all dead cells!Praise Our Healing Lord for all the miracles he has performed in my life! I am officially NED NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE as of 16 Jan 2008! We ask you to please continue to pray for my total & permanent healing!I was diagnosed to be on the autisim spectrum in october 2008 , but I've made huge strides and excelling in all i put my heart into!

Hope your little angel is home and doing much better. This is the most beautiful photo i have seen of him. you really have a little heart breaker, he is adourable.
Hope you taking care of your self and getting as much rest as possible. Sounds like you have all the support you need. All the prayers and love that it will take to make your little angel strong and healthy again. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
The letter from your Mom was so beautiful it made me cry. This whole situation has made me so grateful that i too have been blessed with a beautiful son and a daughter soon. Sometimes we rush through life and we dont stop to look at our children, to see that they really are the most precious gift God ever gave us. They are the reason we wake up in the morning and our whole world revolves around them but then those smiles and giggles make it all worth while.
You are so lucky to have your mom. It made me stop and realise how we depend so much on our moms and how lucky our sons are to have such great Nanna's. My mom slept in a chair for 3 nights when i was in hospital with Jayden's birth and was there all the way to help.
Samm you really are blessed with a beautiful family including your mom and sister. Look at all your blessings and be strong and remenber you have friends too. I am just at the end of a email or sms if you need anything. You helped me through a very emotional time. You made me stop and realise i had God on my side and my little Hannah would be safe and she is, and so will your Deqlan.

Little Deqlan, you are such a brave boy, Hospitals suck!!!!! I hope that you get better really soon. I have known your Mom for a while and she is capable of amazing things. (Ask me I know how she always made me feel special and loved) You get lots of rest and be strong!
