Oh little Ruan, my heart sings with joy, not sadness when I see your happy smile with your mommy that you experienced the true meaning of unconditional love, oh your mommy and ouma and oupa loved you so very much! I will always remember your beautiful face and smile, your love for barney and especially your love for aunty bev's bubbles!

The photo of you and your Mommy that Samm used to honour you today reflects such amazing and genuine happiness, immeasurable joy and a special moment in time.
You were so very brave and courageous and so very loved by Mamma, Ouma and Oupa, your family and friends. There was nothing they were not prepared to do for you throughout your long journey, never losing hope or faith. God chose for you, beautiful Ruan, a healing, not as part of our human condition in this mortal world , but one with total and sacred union with Jesus himself.
We will never forget all the happy times we had with you, including the days when you played with that green little remote car that played such happy music in the ward. I remember so clearly the delight and wonder on your face when I blew bubbles for you the very first time.
You are a bright shining star and angel in Heaven in God's promised Kingdom. We (Samm and our family) promise to check in on Mamma from time to time, also Oupa and Ouma and ask you to say a special little prayer for us all.
As Barney would say "With a great big hug and a kiss from us to you"
