SNUG AS A BUG THANK YOU'S

MORE PJ'S AND OTHER ITEMS ROLLED IN OVER THE WEEKEND AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE FINAL COLLECTION FOR OUR SNUG AS A BUG PROJECT!

Darling Mom and Dee, thank you so much for providing all the batteries needed for the little walkman radios for the kids - for so lovingly checking each one and getting them ready for our big hand over! Thank you for all your ideas and inspiration and for watching our little soldier as i run around trying to finalise for the big day!

Thank you to Mich for your fantastic contributions, the outfits are to beautiful - thank you so much for bringing all your friends FANTASTIC clothes to us on Friday! A Huge and very heartfelt Thank you to Meintjie, Tracey & Rulani for the most beautiful pjs , fairy dresses & kids clothes -i am blown away by your efforts and absolute love and dedication to make a difference to our project - thank you so so so much and I cant wait to see the little girls in the princess dresses- Christmas has definitely come early for them.

A very big thank you to Elriza for the beautiful little girls teddy pjamas - they are to beautiful and so happy and cheerful - you to continue to go out of your way to help with all our projects no matter how big or small and you continue to ask for prayers for our soldier Deqlan, thank you Elriza, Wes and Caden! Another lovely surprise was from Wesley's mom, Marilyn - thank you for the most beautiful little booties and beanie you so lovingly created for our snug as a bug kids - they are gorgeous and will go together with the pjs from Elriza. Thank you to, for your continued prayers and support all the way from Cape Town!

I wish you could all see my house - it looks like sleep paradise - i have actually lost count of the pjamas, slippers, vests, socks , gowns and blankets! I am busy packaging and labelling them all together, and so much has come in, we have managed to let every child have an extra little something, like a pair of socks or vest or gown etc!! I am so excited!

I will be going with Yolandie from CHOC to Kalefong Paediatric oncology ward on Wednesday, 4 June at 10am, and here is an open invitation to anyone who would like to join in handing over. Please let me know asap as we need to arrange with the ward before hand , they unfortunately wont let anyone in who has flu or a cold or other illness that the kids could pick up. I know its during the working day and at a difficult time in the morning, but if anyone would like to join please let me know by tomorrow afternoon , Tuesday, 3 June at 1400 so we can make the necessary arrangements!

Shall be doing another little post a little later about our weekend and our gorgeous soldier , so tell then!
